Q1 2024 Racing Game Trends in Brazil on Android

As the first quarter of 2024 comes to a close, Sensor Tower has tracked the performance of the most popular racing games on Android in Brazil. Here's a snapshot of how these adrenaline-pumping games fared.

Madbox's Pocket Champs: 3D Racing Games saw a fluctuating trend in downloads, peaking at 40K in the first week of March before dipping to 26K by the end of the quarter. Revenue was relatively stable, hovering around the 7K mark, while weekly active users showed a slight decrease from 85K to 73K.

ELECTRONIC ARTS' Need for Speed™ No Limits experienced a similar pattern, with downloads reaching a high of 124K in late January and then settling down to 50K by the end of March. Revenue trends were a bit more volatile, with a notable spike to 7.5K in early March. Weekly active users started strong at 383K but saw a dip, ending the quarter at 342K.

Zynga's CSR 2 Realistic Drag Racing had a modest start in January with 15K downloads, but this figure more than doubled by the end of March, reaching 12K. Revenue saw a gradual decline, starting at 8K and dipping to 5K, while weekly active users showed resilience, increasing from 63K to 50K.

Gameloft SE's Asphalt 9: Legends kicked off the quarter with 33K downloads and witnessed a dip to 20K by March's end. Revenue trends were not as promising, with a decrease from 7K to 4K. However, the game maintained a relatively stable base of weekly active users, starting at 80K and slightly decreasing to 60K.

Lastly, Real Racing 3, another title from ELECTRONIC ARTS, showed an impressive download spike in mid-January at 112K, followed by a drop to 35K by the close of the quarter. Revenue, although the lowest among the top 5, showed signs of growth, starting at 3K and ending at 2.6K. Weekly active users experienced a peak of 376K in early March, eventually settling to 330K.
